1960s Vienna. Victor, a young Jewish businessman, lives with the grief of his mother and sister’s murder at Mauthausen concentration camp. Motivated by his desire for justice, Victor seeks retribution by bringing legal actions against Kurt Gogl, the Mauthausen commandant. He enlists the help of Simon Wiesenthal, the renowned Nazi hunter who devoted his life to methodically seeking out former Nazi leaders. They come to trial but the corrupt legal system, still riddled with former Nazis, leaves Victor without faith in formal justice, and with no option but to take matters into his own hands...
