Pirates, vampires, mistaken identity, magic and… attack monkeys riding pelicans?

The infamous pirate Captain Sabertooth wants a magic diamond that holds special powers but, the problem is, so does Maga Kahn, a vampire king with an army of monkeys at his disposal. Due to a case of mistaken identity, both pirate and vampire are led to believe that the whereabouts of the diamond is only known by Pinky, the world’s youngest pirate, who is trying to take a break from his days of sailing the seven seas. When Pinky is kidnapped by Captain Sabertooth and his eclectic crew of misfit pirates it is up to Pinky’s best friend Sunniva to rescue him and save the day.

This animated adventure is a glorious combination of action, heart and a lot of irreverent humour (keep your eyes out for the hipster pirate!).

Parental guidance: very mild sense of threat in some scenes and mild slapstick violence. Rated PG.
