TALKBOX is a spoken-word night for the weird and the radical.

On every second Tuesday, we’ll be showcasing the strangest spoken performances on the Southside. Through poetry, essays, monologues, and manifestos, our emerging performers are turning the conventional slam night on its head.

South of the City is a social enterprise focused on activating creative spaces on the southside with music, art and film. Run by a network of young people – musicians, artists, filmmakers and dancers – we’re invested in supporting, promoting and putting on arts events closer to home.
