Music with Attitude – The Movie!
The Story
"I want you to see who I am...I am me and I am proud to be me" (Ad Hoc Rock 2021)
This local documentary highlights the Music with Attitude program for community musicians with disabilities, and the individual artists who shared their creativity and their life experiences throughout the tumult of 2021 in Melbourne.
The program will also include a curated selection of short films from the Lantern & Light International Children's Film Festival, and includes the winner of the Golden Flame award, SNOW QUEEN by Britt Dunse from Germany.
Britt Dunse and her team have been realising fairy tales in German sign language with hearing-impaired and deaf children. The children can experience that their language - the sign language is not translated as a special feature on the side, but is a central element of the film.
