A beautifully animated coming-of-age story about a sensitive bat who is afraid of the dark and must learn to overcome his fears.

Benjamin Bat is small and not very brave. His family doesn’t think very much of him, he prefers singing over hunting, and he just does not feel like he belongs anywhere. Everything changes when he meets a tropical songbird named Sherida and falls in love. Birds and bats are supposed to be arch enemies, not friends or romantic interests! Benjamin finally discovers he is brave after all when he is compelled to stand up for himself, challenge his family’s prejudices, and win Sherida’s love.
