Cameo offers a variety of unique event spaces, which can cater for everything from an intimate birthday gathering in one of our smaller boutique cinemas, to sizeable corporate functions, school group bookings or fundraisers in our larger theatres. You can also choose to hire out the glorious Cameo Outdoor Cinema for an extra-special picnic screening.
Our group bookings manager is here to help design your event, tailoring it to your specific needs. You can book in a new release blockbuster or foreign-language title, or enquire about screening a retro favourite that you’d love to re-experience on the silver screen. We also offer flexibility in bespoke food and drink packages and other catering options. See below for a brief rundown of approximate costs per hire type:
Group Booking
Get discounted tickets for groups of 20 or more when booking an inseason film in advance! Perfect for fundraisers, social groups, clubs or special events.
Private Hire
Offers exclusive use of your chosen cinema for you and your guests. You can also choose to screen an inseason film, a classic film or your own private presentation. The ideal option if you're after that VIP red-carpet feel.
Outdoor Events
Enjoy cinema under the stars, and in the company of the beautiful Dandenong ranges, by hiring our outdoor cinema space. Join a public session or hire the space for a private event. Our comfy deckchairs and bean-bags are included, and you can even add hire of our outdoor bar into the deal!

Children's Birthday Parties
Make your child feel like a silver screen star with our birthday party packages. Includes tickets to your chosen film, cinema snacks for every child, and more!
